Loretta Serrano's "For the Record"

Loretta Serrano said...

"For the record, I posted Lora's kids' names and BDates and her new address on Usenet and my blog to prove a point. I realized that it was going to stay in some venue permanently, as did all the posts that (Names edited out, none of which is the victim of this contemptible public exposure.) and all the mutts who used my daughter's name and my name to slander me at Usenet. I realized that it was not an appropriate venue for that, but I did it anyway.

Did I feel bad about it? Yes, actually. You can ask the people in the kitchen what I said. I said, I know it was wrong, but I did it anyway. Does that make me a sociopath? Have at it. I am no more pathological than you all, and in fact have not done a fraction of the things of which you accuse me."

so·ci·o·path (noun)
One who is affected with a personality disorder marked by antisocial behavior.

Regarding a custody battle over Loretta's own minor child:

"Yes, I could take him back any time. The problem is, if I do, and I get more money (which I will) that will just torque up Miss Loveliness' wrath. I would not put it past her to poison L or cause an "accident" or attempt to murder her in order to get out of paying the money.

Seriously. I can't prove it, but I believe she would harm L. I know L has a guardian angel and that is why she has not succumbed to Miss Loveliness' previous attempts.

A judge would laugh me out of court if I tried to present that suspicion, so I just have to hope and pray nothing bad happens.

I don't want to exacerabate the problem by taking him back and getting more money.

If he takes ME back, that's another story. Then, it serves him right, I shrug my shoulders, and Miss Loveliness has no one to blame but herself."

What kind of a mother makes such dreadful accusations, then entrusts her daughter's safety to a guardian angel? A lying scheming one, that's who. Have I proved my point?

Shame on Anne from Brazil

Today I was reminded that a co-conspirator assisted Loretta Serrano in the dastardly deed of publishing the names of minor children on the World Wide Web. Loretta's methods of coercion are legendary throughout Internet message boards and always involve the participation of volunteers from her readership at misfitting.com. In this particular case, international boundaries were crossed and raw muscle was imported from Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Anne (from Brazil) is the architect of several spite blogs specifically designed to intimidate certain critics of Loretta Serrano. Anne crossed the same ethical line as Loretta in disclosing the names of minor children on a public forum dedicated to badgering the children's mother. This detestable form of blackmail may be acceptable South of the border, however, any law-abiding citizen of these United States will tell you there are State and Federal confidentiality laws that serve to protect the identity of our nation's youth.

Society pays the price for the unprincipled choices of its members and the victims should never be children. It is especially important to safeguard the privacy of juveniles in this era of electronic communication. Therefore, we bear the responsibility of shielding the most vulnerable members of the world's population.

Shame on Anne (from Brazil) for failing to incorporate a personal system of values!

Loretta Serrano, Mythomaniac

myth·o·ma·ni·a (noun)
A compulsion to embroider the truth,
engage in exaggeration, or tell lies.

Date: Sat, Jun 10 2006 12:55 pm
Email: "RetzQ" a.k.a. Loretta Serrano
Groups: alt.activism.children, alt.fan.bob-larson, misc.legal
"The unduly maligned model of the "village raising the child" demands a social and moral responsibility of the community comprised of caregivers, health professionals, educators, and religious organizations, and which promotes a collective consciousness of all children, not just one's own. In a culture where families are disenfranchised, distrustful, and transient, it is the children who remain powerless.

Take the initiative to become involved with the children of your community. Your awareness may save a child's life."

Ms. Serrano failed to include bloggers on her list of essential neighborhood guardians.

Fact: Under her stewardship, along with encouragement from members of her blogging community, Loretta not only took the initiative of disclosing personal information about minor children, but also had this to say:
"I suggested that Shina would make a very poor parent, and that her baby was better off dead. Well, God knows what He's doing. He works in mysterious ways."

Shame on you, Loretta Serrano!

On May 20, 2006, Loretta Serrano, owner of the domain misfitting.com, posted the names, birth dates, and location of two minor children who are complete strangers to her. Ms. Serrano's public revelations also identified other adult family members, related to the children, citing their respective birth dates in addition. Why?

It was a premeditated act of retribution motivated by a fervent desire to humiliate a selected individual who participates on a forum that collectively criticizes Loretta Serrano’s online behavior and opinions. None of the persons listed in her vindictive announcement has ever posted or commented about Loretta Serrano. The casualties of this flagrant act, in all probability, are not even aware of her existence. Ms. Serrano didn’t simply post the statistics on her own Weblog, misfitting.com, but went a step further by duplicating the message at Usenet newsgroups. The following is a description of Usenet:

"Usenet is a worldwide network of newsgroups (also called forums or message boards) covering an estimated 40,000 (and growing) different topics. Users can post anything they care to, and often do so anonymously. The sexually explicit content on Usenet newsgroups is often more extreme than that on adult-oriented Web sites.

Moreover, sexually explicit Usenet newsgroups are conduits for advertising adult-oriented Web sites and can provide their users with a mechanism to swap sexually explicit material. Some Internet service providers carry a full line of Usenet newsgroups."

The personal data Loretta Serrano aired in public on Usenet remains in the environment described above to this day, for the entire Internet world to see, by virtue of the archiving process utilized by newsgroups . Ms. Serrano has since removed a portion of the information from her own blog, but her malignant handiwork continues to be exposed to a much broader and diverse audience.

No apology was issued. Remorse was never expressed. Instead, Loretta Serrano chose to castigate the mother of the minor children, through an interloper, on a blog that was designed to vilify her prey with the following remarks:

5/24/06 - "First, let me tell you this: nobody, I mean NOBODY paid for (or offered to pay for) the information about your kids. The info is openly available around. Genealogy."

"What makes you think you are more important than anyone else?"

The comments were most likely intended to clarify a bounty, which had been previously offered in Newsgroups:

"I am going to sweeten the pot: $200 REWARD on the real Identiy of "Axxxx Rxxxxxx/Axxxx Nxxxxx/Axxxx Nxxxxxx/et al." Or more. Depending on who wants to ante up. I have the $$ - and some." -Posted by Loretta Serrano a.k.a. RetzQ - Oct 08, 09:16 am. (alt.fan.bob-larson)

Another message posted on Usenet combined with a threat:

"This is just fighting fire with fire. If Lxxx Nxxxxxx wants this removed, she knows what to do. I might be able to get rid of it before it caches to another newsgroup. I can easily remove it from here and my blog if she takes down the Kennel. The ball is in her court. Otherwise, there are more people in there whose real names we know and who risk the same exposure." -Posted by Loretta Serrano a.k.a. RetzQ on 05-21-2006, 10:55 AM
Note: The recipient of Loretta's hostility does NOT own the above referenced forum, called the "Kennel" and has no control over its management. Ms. Serrano knows it!

She also comprehends how newsgroups operate as evidenced by the following reprimand to a Usenet poster who is also the object of Ms. Serrano's perpetual scorn:
“If you didn't want an audience, you shouldn't be posting on a news group where the comments are public for all the world to see and are never deleted except by the authors. Even then, they are archived in other news group sites. Oops. Now your stupidity is here for all to see FOREVER.” –Posted by Loretta Serrano a.k.a. RetzQ on 05-20-2006, 09:27 PM

Epidemic Online

50,000 Predators a Minute

WASHINGTON, May 17, 2006 — There are as many as 50,000 predators online trolling for child sex victims at any given time, U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales said today in announcing a new federal policy to deal with the problem.

As part of a new program called Project Safe Childhood, all U.S. attorneys from across the country are directed to work with local and federal agencies to develop a strategic plan to combat the growing problem, which Gonzales called an "epidemic."

"It has been estimated that, at any given time, 50,000 predators are on the Internet prowling for children," Gonzales said.

Ernie Allen, director of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, said while there are more investigations and prosecutions of such cases, "the bad news is that this problem is far greater than any of us thought." FBI director Robert Mueller said the bureau has more than 2,400 child exploitation investigations under way.

Since 1998, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has received approximately 400,000 tips about the exploitation and abuse of children, and the overwhelming majority of them were related to child pornography.
